115 Furry
I was chilling in the backyard waiting for some feathered friends to come by but a furry came by so he got a peanut.

253 Recessionary Economics
This house has been empty for over a year; a couple of broken out windows were boarded up. The city came by recently and mowed. The Sale sign disappeared some time ago.

18 Baby It's Cold Outside
All over the area the plants are covered up, hoping not to lose any of the tropicals. The nurseries, groves and strawberry farmers are spraying fine mists of water to protect their crops. I will be doing quite a bit of pruning in another month as the bougainvilleas, fire spike, gingers and a couple of others got burnt last night. The warm December meant there was a lot of tender new growth.
317 Temperature
I'm very thankful that the temperature in this part of the world does not ice the windshield often. They were forecasting a hard freeze last night so we are hoping that the citrus and strawberries made it through without much damage.

213 Orange
Some of the blood oranges sliced and ready to be juiced. This tree has been a prolific producer for years. Unfortunately for my frequent heartburn, I consume most of the oranges and grapefruit and it is very good this year.
56 Clouds
A cold front was starting to move in last night. Only expecting low 50's today and freeze warnings the next couple of nights.

182 Memories of Childhood
This little elephant bank was a great favorite. We loved feeding him pennies and then of course trying to shake them back out. I'm afraid he got a lot of hard use.

28 Blue
One of my favorite blues; this lovely blue jay will sit in a tree close by and let me know he's looking for a peanut.
363 Winter
Living in Central Florida, winter is enjoying the citrus trees. I have a couple of tangerine trees, a blood orange (very sweet this year) and a ruby red grapefruit (which should be ready in another week). And unless we are having a cold snap like this week (it's cold to us!) it's a great time to be out.

#5 Abandoned
An old bicycle that hasn't been used in a very long time. The seat is falling apart and growing some interesting colors.

82. Eating Establishments

Not the greatest photo but I wanted to get a shot at this little fellow at the small feeder so I grabbed the camera and took the photo from the kitchen through the window.
