293 Solitary
A Blue Heron had staked out the small area of land by some cypress trees. I no longer have my fish pond; in reality it was a heron feeder so I don't have one visiting my backyard anymore. I do miss him.

Beautiful photo. Again, the color of the lake is gorgeous and I like the reflection, too.

The color and your composing are fabulous. I guess having a fish pond that turns into a heron feeder would have to go,. Again- I think you live in an aviary :-)

Love the heron silhouetted against the water! The lighting and the texture the trees add make this photo fabulous!

I love the solitary heron in this environment. Great colors and composition. Lots of textures here. Nice job.

The shadows against the water are great.
