261 Risky (Morning Walk)
Yesterday morning, this little armadillo came strolling across the street close to us. All the cars slowed down but I'm afraid I see most of them as roadkill. We do have one who comes by our yard once a year. Digs a big hole under our fence and the shed in the back. Doesn't do too much other digging in our yard and then disappears.

He looks like he may want to be roadkill! He is kinda cute though!

That's so cool! You don't get to see them out much-have to be careful, though. They tend to be cranky. Probably comes from watching all their kin become roadkill.

Critters and Cars - Far from a good combination, gotta feel sorry for the critters though it was their country well before we showed up.

Hope he makes it across safely. Like the diagonal lines here.

This transit is risky for that critter! Nice catch. We see big turtles crossing the road here occasionally in New England. Talk about a leap of faith...

I have only seen those at the zoo-very cool capture.

I agree with Linda - I've only seen those at the zoo. Great capture and I hope he didn't end up as roadkill.

I hope it has a long life too. I also hope it doesn't dig anymore that that in your yard, can't they be really destructive?

No way! You have armadillos in your neighborhood? How exotic!

I like that you captured him in mid stride and also how he is placed between the lines. Great shot!
