283 Silhouette (Morning Walk)
I always enjoy the birds at the top of the trees, especially the red-winged black bird that hangs out by the golf course. There is also a mockingbird who sings his pretty songs.

A real magnificent creation, how do you get the birds to pose for you like that, the scrawny little buggers buzz of as soon as I appear with my camera.

Great Silhouette! That looks like a very large bird!

Great silhouette. Red-winged blackbirds are very elusive and hard to photograph.

One morning about 2 a.m. I heard a very loud songbird. I had never knew that birds (other than a nightingale) sang at night. I got a tape recorder to capture the song. It was amazing how many songs it sang. Someone told me it was a mockingbird, then I understood. He really got up early to woo a like-minded early riser.
