266 Rusted
Another sculpture from the Cary Visual Art 2008 Sculpture Competition. This is Memory Ball by Adam Walls. They hold various functions in the building in the background. It looked like they were setting up for a wedding the day we were there.

Great shot. Very rusty.
That looks just like a contact mine that were so unpopular with Mariners during WWII.
What a great shot! I like the inclusion of the building in back to give us a sense of the sculpture's setting. Also, how the sculpture is framed between the trees. Really neat!
Can I borrow that memory ball, I could really use it on some days! LOL Wonderful image, love the setting!
Never heard of a Memory Ball, but it makes a great shot!
Love the picture. I love that you included the building in the background. That scuplture does look like an old mine, however.
Beautiful composition and what a unique, rusted sculpture. It looks like a wonderful place for a wedding!
