219 Out West
Day 4 of the road trip. I think this was a rest stop in New Mexico. Realized I need to check the time on the p&s camera. This was the last day on the road as we arrived at our destination in Arizona early afternoon.

Great photo of the area. Looks barren.

Love those two little hairy things (don't know what they are though) in front with that beautiful background. Pretty nice rest stop!
Great shot!

Only been to AZ once--well, twice: going to Phoenix and coming back, 35 years ago, to a horse show. We had a load of American Saddlebred show horses (14), a truck driver that knew NOTHING of hauling horses, and a five-gaited champion that sliced his head open on the way back. Oh, and snow, sleet, and rain on the way out. Memorable trip, but I didn't get to see much of the countryside! I love your photo! Makes me wish we'd had more time to sightsee!

Those two yucca plants look like a couple of drunken sailors!
