300 Spring
I love spring, the moderate temperatures and the orange blossoms. The fragrance is wonderful and I really love to sit next to the tree and relax. Actually have not been able to do so for the past couple of days as the winds are blowing the smoke from some of the wildfires so it's been ghastly outside. A little rain this morning and they say it has helped a little. I was also a little worried as I hadn't seen the bees but they showed up yesterday to do the pollination dance!

I am encouraged like you for although the passion fruit is not prolific, I did see a good number of bees competeing with the Lorikeets for the Golden Penda trees that line our road. Great sight.

How pretty! Sorry about the air from the wild fires - hopefully that will clear soon - glad the bees are back though!

Very pretty. I love the color in the leaves. Your frame helps bring out the blue tones.

Pretty shot. Do orange blossoms smell as nice as they look? Hope the wildfires are out soon. OK one question though - doesn't central FL always have moderate to warm temperatures??

We don't have a long spring so moderate (70's) don't last long. It will soon be in the high 80s and 90s with humidity to make it a sauna for a few months.

To answer Barb's question: And yes, orange blossoms are very sweet. There is a wild plant in the NW (maybe elsewhere too) that is also cultivated. It is called Mock Orange and it is also very sweet smelling. You can google it or find it here:

This is a very nice photo. Can almost smell the blossoms. Great job.

Spring is a wonderful time of year. I can sympathize with the wild fire situation. I hope it gets better soon.

Lovely shot indeed, your framing is wonderful. Hope the fires are going out. Odd for me to think of the 70's as being moderate.

How lovely, outside my window it is snowing again, blizzard-like snow to boot :-( I wonder if this winter is ever going to end.

There is nothing like being enveloped in the fragrance of orange blossoms! Thanks for the reminder - takes me back a few years....
